Resume Apply ("the service") is a job-search assistant consisting of a mobile/web app and a server that runs a browser and an application engine on your behalf. This policy explains what data the service handles and why.
What we store
- Your résumé and your answers file (ground-truth answers to common application questions), which you upload or edit in the app.
- Job-board sessions: the server's browser keeps you logged in to the boards you sign in to, so it can search and apply as you.
- The application ledger: every listing seen, its score, and whether it was submitted, skipped, flagged as a duplicate, or errored, with timestamps.
- Usage metering: token counts and cost per AI call, credits purchased and used, and any voluntary tips.
What we send to third parties
- AI providers. To score a posting and plan a form, the text of your résumé, your answers file, the job posting and the form fields are sent to the configured model provider (Anthropic by default, or a local model you operate). We do not use your data to train models.
- Job boards and employers. The service submits applications to them exactly as you would, containing the information you approved.
We do not sell personal data and do not run advertising.
Where data lives
On the server your app is pointed at. For the hosted early-access server that is infrastructure we operate; for self-hosted installations it is your own machine. Data is protected by an access token and encrypted in transit.
Your controls
- Delete your résumé or answers at any time from the app's Setup tab.
- Request deletion of your ledger and account data by emailing [email protected].
- Auto-submit is off by default; nothing is submitted without your approval unless you turn it on.
